What the site is
Solar System Simulator is a free educational visualization of the solar system. Positions are computed from published orbital theories and tested against NASA JPL's Horizons system, as described on the accuracy and sources page. It is not intended for navigation, precise astrometry, eclipse timing or any purpose where an error could cause harm or loss.
Using it
Use the simulator freely for learning, teaching, presentations and your own projects. Pictures you save from it are yours to use; if you publish them, please credit "Solar System Simulator (solarsystemsimulator.com)" and keep the attributions for the textures and star data listed on the credits page, which their licenses require.
Please do not overload the site with automated requests, copy the site as a whole, or probe it for vulnerabilities.
Third-party material
Planet textures, star data, software libraries and fonts are used under their own licenses, listed on the credits page. Those licenses continue to apply to that material.

The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability.
